Featured Court Reporter

bio picture Lisa LambertiLisa has been reporting for 17 years, starting full-time in April 1998. She became interested in court reporting as she was drawn to the idea of self-employment and not working 9 to 5. Currently, Lisa is writing at approximately 300 words-per-minute. Her favourite aspect of court reporting life is the fact that no two days are ever the same. “I am lucky enough to be involved in such a wide variety of work that I get to learn a little bit about a lot of things” says Lisa.

Lisa keeps up her speed, accuracy and sharp finger strokes by practicing regularly at home.

She also offers the following advice for her colleagues and those who wish to become a court reporter. “My advice for anyone in this field is that we are lucky enough to have found a fulfilling and rewarding career, but your whole world cannot revolve around work.  Find something that you love to do on your off time and make sure to actually do it”

When Lisa isn’t working, she enjoys travelling and tries to get away as often as she can. After she completes the addition and renovation to her house, Lisa is planning a relaxing exotic getaway to Bora Bora.
